                Lately this week the hot topic is about the NFL players Adrian Petersen and Ray Rice, they are in trouble for abusing their kids and beating their wives or girlfriends. I have heard some people’s opinions and they think that it’s wrong to abuse kids, but there is nothing bad about spanking their kids. At some point, it is easy to see how parents can get way aggressive, go overboard and then leave unintentional marks. But if they learn to control themselves then it is okay. Like Adrian Peterson, that might have got out of hand that one specific time because he did clearly left marks on his kid.  

            If you’re a football player or any other player playing in the Major Leagues, and you do something wrong, then you might let your fans and sponsors down. Honestly, if I was a fan of anyone who hit their girlfriends or abuse their kids it would make me less of a fan or not a fan at all. The team and the team’s sponsors should want respectful players to represent them. And if you don’t show that you can be a good representative then you’ll lose your job, your sponsors, and make your team lose their sponsors.
